Crestwood lost to Dallas, 40-24, in a wrestling match on December 20.

Freshman Garrett Swank recorded a pin for the Comets.

Crestwood grapplers who won their matches were: 106: Hunter Greenberg by forfeit; 120: Jordan Miale by forfeit; 126: Garrett Swank pinned Eric Kriner in 1:37; 145: Ron Grevera with a 6-2 decision over John Betzko; and at 195: Paul Ashton by a 4-1 decision over MoustafaAlmeky.

The Crestwood girls dominated Williamsport en route to a 59-38 win in a girls basketball game played December 15.

Andrea Shipton led the Lady Comets in scoring with 12 points. Julia Makowski added 10.

Also putting points on the board for Crestwood were Sarah Hopkins, 9; Bella Termini, 8; Kate Snipas, 7; Sarah Richards, 6; Riley Morgan, 4; Ally Muse, 2.

On December 19, Crestwood cruised past Riverside, 55-35.

Hopkins had 14 points for the Lady Comets while Shipton chipped in 12.

Makowski also put 8 points on the board for the winners while Richards added 5.

Also scoring for Crestwood were Termini with 3. Snipas, Alyssa Cuomo and Dianna Uhl chiped in with 2 points each.


In boys basketball, Crestwood Cruised past Delaware Valley, 67-22, in a game on December 16.

Kyle Richards scored 16 points to lead the Comets. Lance Blass and Noah Jackson chipped in with 12 points each.

Also scoring were Kyle Gegaris, 7; Kevin Klusewitz and Mike Ayala with 6 points each; Camden Boris and Corey Chalk had 3 points apiece; while Mike Kozelski had a bucket.
