Mountaintop resident Elijah Williams, a sophomore at McDaniel College will perform in the Gospel Choir Concert on Sunday, Dec. 11, 3 p. m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The performance is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of music lecturer Shelley Ensor, the concert is titled “Put a Little Love in Your Heart.” The program features traditional and contemporary gospel music, as well as spirituals.
“The Gospel choir continues its message of love and tolerance for its program,” Ensor said. “ Our goal is to highlight our commonalities and embrace our differences and share the message of love, peace and joy during these times that seem filled with so much intolerance and negativity.”
