Dorrance Leaders Prep For Subdivision Hearing Dec. 1

After over a year of preliminary work The Preserve at Blue Ridge, a Planned Residential Development presented by owner Robert Tamburro, will be under consideration by the Dorrance Township Supervisors at a public hearing on Thursday, December 1st at the Dorrance Fire Hall.

At Dorrance’s November 14th meeting chaired by Gary Zane, Solicitor Donald Karpowich was represented by Atty. Sean W. Logsdon from his office. Atty. Logsdon reported, “As a public notice tonight, the supervisors are holding a public hearing –it’s been duly advertised to be Thursday, December 1st at 7 pm.”

He continued, “The planning commission will hold a public meeting at 6 pm that same date. It’s going to be at the Dorrance fire station 402 St. Johns Road.”

He said that the hearing is to consider, “the application of TFP Limited for tentative plan and conditional use approvals to construct a planned residential development with a total build-out of 193 units comprised of 108 twin and 85 single family units on 546.56 acres of property with frontage on Blytheburn Road and Prospect Road in the C-1 conservation district.”

He added that materials relating to the matter are available for review during normal business hours at the township office on Blue Ridge Trail.
