Children ages four through high school are needed to fill the parts of the St. Jude Parish Christmas Pageant. The pageant Sun., Dec. 18 at 4 p. m. and will coincide with the Lessons and Carols Concert. Parts will be non-speaking. Students will act out the Scripture passages to add to this prayer-filled event. St. Jude’s is coordinating with St. Paul’s Church to participate in the Feed-A-Friend program. Suggested items for donation are boxes of stuffing mix, pie crust mix, Bisquick, Jello, pudding, instant potatoes, hot roll mix, cans of vegetables, fruit, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin, applesauce, soup, and pie filling. No glass containers! Food may be dropped off at the church until Nov. 18. .
Volunteers are needed to transport boxes from St. Jude’s to St. Paul’s on Friday, Nov. 18 from 1 p. m. until 3 p. m. Help is also needed on Sat., Nov. 19 from 9:30 a. m. until 11 a. m. and from 11 a. m. until 12:30 p. m. to set up and sort food at St. Paul’s. Call the Parish Office of you can help.
The Knights of Columbus Council 12174 will host a Spaghetti Supper to support our three seminarians -Kevin Miller, Jonathan Kuhar, and Ryan Glenn. The Knights invite all parishioners and societies to assist with this fundraiser by baking desserts, cooking, and/or serving the meal. Proceeds will be given to the seminarians for tuition, books, travel, or any other incurred expense. The dinner is Saturday, Nov. 19 from 4 p. m. until 8 p. m. in St. Mary’s Social Hall in Dorrance. The 10th Annual Lessons and Carols Concert will be Sunday, Dec. 18 at 4 p. m. in the church. The concert tells the story of salvation history in Christ and features the Music Ministry and Christmas Pageant, guest instrumentalists, and a light reception in the school cafeteria.
Women of the parish are invited to begin Advent with an evening of fellowship, spiritual reflection, desserts, and beautiful table settings on Fri. Dec. 9 at 6:30 p. m. in the school cafeteria. Anyone interested in hosting a table is asked to contact Theresa Kline at 579-239-0959.

Saturday Vigil Masses are 4 p. m. at St. Jude’s and 5:30 p. m. at St. Mary’s. Sunday Masses are 7:30 a. m., 9 a. m., 10:30 a. m. and noon at St. Jude’s and 9 a. m. at St. Mary’s.
