Dorothy E. Wieder, White Haven, died October 30, 2016, in Butler Valley Manor, Drums.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Black Higgins and was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Trenton, NJ. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, White Haven and was employed as a seamstress for many years and worked in the Hospitality Industry at Pocono Hershey and Mt. Laurel. She enjoyed gardening and loved cooking and canning.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her sister, Jamie Murphy.

She is survived by her husband, William Wieder, White Haven; daughter, Miriam Ray and her husband, Robert, White Haven; grandchildren, Katharine and Kimberly; siblings, David Higgins, Trenton, NJ; Eleanore Stewart, PA; Ellen Geibel, Brownsmills, NJ and Albert Higgins, Drums.
