St. Paul’s Lutheran Church announces Sunday services at 8:30 and 11 a. m. Sunday Church School begins at 9:30. Office Hours are 8:30 a. m. to 12:30 p. m.
Communion will be offered October 30th (Reformation Sunday). A Potluck Luncheon follows at noon.
Bible Study at Wright Manor is scheduled on Mondays at 2pm. In the June addition of the Lutheran magazine, the article, Religion-Good for our Health and Well-Being was published. Throughout August and continuing into September, we have been discussing the various aspects of the article. We have shared our stories, discussed friendship, our place in the world, miracles, healthy habits. We will continue to discuss the benefit Consider joining this lively discussion on Thursday afternoons, from 1-3 pm. at St. Paul’s. Everyone is welcome.
Board Game Days are every third Wednesday at 1 p. m. at the church will be Board Game Day. Please bring your favorite game and a snack to share.
Hoagie Sale-Hoagies are available the 3rd Thursday of each month except December. All orders must be in by the previous Sunday. The cost of the hoagies is $4 each. The sign-up sheet is on the narthex bulletin board. Call the church office (474-6616) for more information.
Movie Night is scheduled Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30 p. m.
A Pizza Sale and Flea Market will take place on Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th. If you would like to help make apple dumplings on Saturday, October 22nd in the morning, please sign up on the sign-up sheet located on the bulletin board. Also, we need helpers to put dumplings in boxes and to clean up, see sign-up sheet also.
The Youth Halloween Party will be held Friday, October 28th at 6:30 p. m. Looking forward to a gathering of ghouls and ghosts and goblin hosts! Join us on Friday evening as we check out this year’s Halloween fashion; play a few games, sing, dance and enjoy some treats. It’s always a good time for those who join us. Sign-up sheet is located on the bulletin board.
The Crochet Club will work on
lap robes for St. Luke’s Manor in Hazleton. We will be working on these until December. If you need any yarn, please let Lois know. If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, please call Lois (474-5502), and volunteer your talents by making the items at your own pace at home.
