CRICKET TOURNAMENT-The Northeast Pennsylvania Cricket Club hosted a Cricket Tournament on September 25 at the Nuangola Borough Recreation Fields. The Club, founded by Navid Ahmad has grown from 8 players when it started in 2012, to 40 members from around the area. NEPACC won the tournament against two teams from New Jersey. NEPACC was formed to introduce cricket to the region and the club has travelled to NJ, NY and other parts of PA to compete. The club now has its own grounds to host tournaments such as this, thanks to Nuangola Borough, especially Council President, Joe Tucker, who was instrumental in reestablishing the playing surface.
