Members of the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, along with the Wright Township Police Department, arrested 22 year-old Garritt Williams, 58 East Woodhaven, White Haven, and 25 year-old Javan Bailey, 65 Oxford Street, Hanover Township, for selling drugs to an undercover officer in the parking lot of Weis Plaza on September 29, 2016. The males sold the drug known as “Molly” to the undercover officer.
When the males were taken into custody they were in possession of a digital scale used for weighing the drugs, the money that the undercover officer gave Garritt Williams and an additional $395 in cash. Williams and Bailey were processed and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to delivery and criminal conspiracy then transported and lodged at the Luzerne County Prison. Bail was set at $30,000 straight cash each. Preliminary hearings are scheduled
for October 12, 2016 at Magistrate Swank’s office.
Another male that was in the vehicle was identified as 23 year-old Demitrius Dashawn Parham, 3 Dundee Apartments, Hanover Township, was wanted by Luzerne County Adult Probation and Parole Department for carrying a firearm without a license and false identification to law enforcement officers. Parham was transported to and lodged at the Luzerne County Prison.
