Emmanuel would like to thank everyone who supported our recent fundraiser, the 300 Club, on June 18. This was a fantastic event with great entertainment and delicious food. The Mud Pond Boys and Jesse and Friends really filled the air with great songs. There were plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, whimpies, and sausage and pepper sandwiches to go along with all the side dishes of coleslaw, potato salads, macaroni salad, pasta salad, relish trays, American pierogi, mac and cheese and baked beans. No one left hungry, that’s for sure. The youngsters really had a “jumpin’” time in the moonbounce. The hourly ticket drawings for the monetary prizes had everyone waiting to hear their name called. And odds for winning were good since there were 43 prizes and only 300 chances to win –that’s why it’s called the 300 Club. There was also an amazing assortment of items in the Silent Auction.
Special THANKS to all the businesses and individuals who donated items for our auction, or food, drinks, and supplies: Abe’s Hot Dogs, Anthracite Café, Ceaser’s Auto Detailing, Classic Looks Hair Salon, Crestwood Pharmacy, Decker’s Flowers, Dotzel Trucking and Topsoil, Elizabeth’s Sewing Shop, Friedman Electric, George Burger & Sons, Gino’s Shoes, Holiday Inn and Suites, Junie G’s Restaurant, King’s Restaurant & Pizza, La Napoli Pizza, Leaf & Ladle, McCune Funeral Services, Mountain Freeze, Mountain Top Gold and Coin, Mountain Top Outdoorsman, Old Post Greenhouse, P&D Pet Supply, Pennsy Supply (Small Mountain Quarry), Petal Park Floral and Gifts, Peters Bottled Gas, Reilly’s Garage, Rocky Ridge Nursery, The Pool Guys, Theodora’s Restaurant, Triangle Pharmacy, Walck Custom Wood Products, Weis Market, Wos-Wit Foods, Wyda’s Small Engine Repair and so many anonymous donors. Thank you again to all who came out to support us. You are great and we’re so glad to be a part of this wonderful community.
