A Stack Fast Camp will be held at Mountaintop Family Church June 20th-23rd from 9am to noon. This camp is for students who have completed grades 1 to 6 and like cup stacking. Mountaintop Youth Soccer Camp fundraiser is scheduled for girls and boys soccer, ages 7 and up. Instruction will be with Crestwood coaches, twice a week now until July 28, at the Mountaintop Soccerplex, Church Road, Mountaintop. Call Mike at 570-301-3784 for details.
Delay the Disease Program will be offered at Mountaintop Healthcare and Rehab center located at 185 S. Mountain Blvd Mt. Top. The class is free June 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm. The class will focus on seated exercises, stretches, walking, balance, techniques to assist with getting out of car, chair, and bed, managing symptoms such as decreased arm swing and stooped posture. Saturday, June 25th is the first bass tournament for this season sponsored by the Blytheburn Lake Association. Boats are to be in the water at 6:30 a. m. and out at 11 a. m. . The fee is $40 for 2 member team. It is catch and release and all bass must measure at least 15 inches to qualify. Boats must be equipped with live wells. Fifty percent of the entry fee will be given as prizes. There will be two additional tournaments –Saturday, July 24th and Sunday, September 25th. For this Fourth of July Parade in Mountain Top, all bikers in the area are invited to join in our “Bikes for Stripes” event leading the 10:00 a. m. parade.
