Rotary Club Presents 2016Steam Train Excursion

Don’t miss our 2016 Steam Train Excursion to take place on July 23rd 2016. The train boards in Mountaintop 8:30 am and departs at 9:30 am. There will be parking and shuttle service from the Mountaintop Hose Co #1. The train will arrive in Historic Jim Thorpe at 11:30am. Enjoy a day of dining, shopping, taking in museums and much more. The train will board at 3:30pm and arrive back in Mountaintop approx. 5:45pm. Fairview Park Summer Program

The annual Summer Park Program at Fairview Memorial Park will run from Monday through Friday, August 12, 2016 from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. Cost is $100 for the first child; and $75 for each thereafter. You can register with the Fairview Twp. Secretary at the municipal building Monday through Friday at any time during the summer camp program. There will be swimming, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, nature hikes, science; field trips and much more. Please join us this summer at Memorial Park!

S. A. L. Post 781 Meeting

Social Club Trip, Meeting

The Mountain Top Social Club’s next trip is scheduled on June 23rd at The Hollywood Casino available, seats are limited. New members 50 years and older are always welcomed to attend our meetings and outings. Bakers for our next meeting will be Jane Ann Lokken, Bobette McDade, Roberta Malone, and Camella Rovinski. Knights of Columbus Meeting

The Mountain Top Area Knights of Columbus will hold its monthly business meeting on June 14, 2016 at 7:30 p. m. at the St Jude school library. 300 Club Fundraiser

On Saturday, June 18, Emmanuel UCC will hold its annual 300 Club Fundraiser starting at noon. For the admission price of $35, you and a friend are given a pass to free food and entertainment for the day plus a ticket which enters you in hourly drawings for monetary prizes with the grand prize drawn at 6 pm. You do not have to be present to win. If you don’t want to be entered in the drawings, you can still come out and enjoy the food and entertainment by donating $15 per person at the door. Entertainment will be provided by the Mud Pond Boys and Jesse and Friends. A Silent Auction of items ranging from kid’s toys to kitchenware, hand-made clocks to heavy-duty fans, gift certificates for restaurants to beauty salons, and everything in between, with call at 5:30 pm (no 300 Club ticket necessary) will also be held. There will be games and prizes for the kids, also. Emmanuel UCC is located in Dorrance Twp. at the end of Alberdeen Road across from Andy’s Gas Station.
