The Dorrance Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a Rummage Sale on June 3 from 4:00 until 7:00 and on June 4 from 8:00 a. m. until 12 noon. Drop off date is May 23 until 7 p. m.

Mountaintop Hose Co. No. 1 will sponsor its Annual Rabies Clinic Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 1 to 3 p. m. at the firehouse. Dogs and cats are welcome. $10 per inoculation. The firehouse is located at Woodlawn Ave. and Lehigh St., just over the top of the mountain on Route 309.
The annual Summer Park Program at Fairview Memorial Park will run from Monday, June 13 through Friday, August 12, 2016 from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. Cost is $100.00 for the first child; and $75.00 for each thereafter. Registration will be held Saturday, June 4 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p. m. at the park; or you can register with the Fairview Twp. Secretary at the municipal building Monday through Friday, or the first week of the program. Signups can also be done at any time during the summer camp program. There will be swimming, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, nature hikes, science; field trips and much more. Please join us this summer at Memorial Park!
Women’s Club of Mountain Top will hold its annual Yard Sale and Craft/Vendor Fair on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 8 am to 2 pm at Christ United Methodist Church, 175 S. Main Road, Mountain Top. The event will feature more than 15 yard sale tables, member made baked goods, local crafters, and vendors from 31 Bags, Younique, Lularoe and others. Rain date is June 11.
An American Girl Doll bingo, with proceeds to benefit the M. S. Kirby Library in Mountain Top will be held on Sunday, June 5th at the Crestwood High School Cafeteria, 281 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top. Doors open at 12 noon. Bingo starts at 1 p. m. Tickets are $20 before June 5th. $23 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the library at 35 Kirby Avenue, Mountain Top or by calling the library at 570-474-9313. There will be 20 regular games (all dolls). Ten of the dolls will be the 2016 Doll of the Year, Lea Clark! There will also be special games where prizes will be accessories and/or dolls. Basket raffles, 50/50’s, and refreshments by the Crestwood High School Cheerleaders! All those attending, including children, must have a ticket.
St. Martin in the Fields, the “little stone church” at the corner of Nuangola and Church roads, will host a POPs Concert by the “We Three” trombone trio on Sunday June 5th at 7:00 pm. This unique and well known trio will perform music from the “Great American Song Book.” Their program will also include jazz, spirituals and folksongs. Special guest vocalist, Midge McClosky, executive director of the Shawnee Playhouse in Stroudsburg will be featured in a series of Broadway show tunes. “We Three” members are Brett Rynhart, Mark Stair, and Michael Stair.
