Reconciliation Service Scheduled March 16 At St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s of Dorrance is a welcoming church. The pastor of St. Mary’s is Reverend Joseph Evanko, and Rev. Jeffrey Tudgay, Reverend Assistant Pastor. The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.

Palm Crosses-The Altar & Rosary Society is selling Palm Crosses. Crosses are $10 and will be available after Masses next weekend. The crosses have two lilies and a purple bow. For more information please call Maureen 570-379-3721.

Triduum Liturgy Ministry-Anyone interested in serving as a liturgical minister (altar server, lector, or EM) at one of our Holy Week Services should sign up in the sacristy or contact the Parish Office.

Every Monday evening during Lent, each parish throughout the Diocese will have their “lights on” from 5:30 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. for confession so that Catholics can come to or return to this incredible source of God’s grace, mercy and healing. Ours is held at St. Jude Church.

Reconciliation Service-Confessions will be heard at Saint Mary’s on Wednesday, March 16 from 6-7 p. m.

The men of our parish are invited to participate in the SECOND ANNUAL CATHOLIC MEN’S CONFERENCE. It will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. This year Dr. Scott Hahn, Msgr. Charles Pope, and Michael McGlynn will be the speakers. Bishop Joseph Bambera will celebrate the closing mass for the day. St. Jude School Registration-St. Jude School accepting registrations for the 2016-2017 school year for three-year-olds through eighth grade students during the regular school hours of 8 a. m. until 3 p. m. The three-year-old program is full days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The four-year-old pre-kindergarten students may choose either three full days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays or five full-day sessions. Parents/ guardians need to bring the students’ social security card, birth certificate, immunization records, and a non-refundable $100 registration fee.
