Catholic Schools Week

ST. JUDE’S CELEBRATES VOCATIONS-The theme one day during Catholic Schools Week was to celebrate vocations to the religious life. Each grade at St. Jude’s School designed thank you cards to be sent to the retired Sisters of Christian Charity at Holy Family Convent in Danville and the retired priests at Villa St. Joseph in Scranton. Some of the students’ sentiments included thanking those sisters and priests for teaching them how to pray, inspiring others, hearing confessions, caring for the sick and suffering, continuing to help the Church grow, bringing them closer to God, helping them to understand God’s Word, and inspiring them to read the Bible.
