Frank J. Hacken, 85, Carbondale, died Feb. 17, 2016 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. His wife is Lucille Anelli Hacken. Born in Jermyn, son of the late Joseph and Frances Otkowski Hacken, Frank loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and special friend, his great-granddog, Lily. He enjoyed dining and visiting the casino. For many years, he operated Frank’s Plumbing and Heating, where his legacy was always providing prompt, professional service at all hours day or night and holidays, if needed. Frank was a Korean War Air Force veteran.

Survivors include a son, Frank Hacken Jr. and wife, Debbie, Mountaintop; a daughter, Mary Teresa Clister and husband, Gary, Carbondale; grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Clister, Steven Clister; Roseanne Clister and fiancé, Joseph Grizzanti; Dr. Brittney Hacken, Christopher Hacken and Brandon Hacken. several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, John, Joseph, Michael, Leon and Stanley, and sisters, Mary, Julia, Bertha and Jane. Memorial donations may be sent to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,
