Homemade Easter Candy Eggs

Mountaintop Social Club

The Mountaintop Social Club will be holding a meeting on February 23rd. The meetings are held at the Father Nolan Center at St. Jude’s School in the Day Room (entrance is in the back of the school) Anyone 55 years and older are welcome to join us. Doors will open at 3:15p.m. The 2016 trip schedule is finalized. Please join us at our meetings to see if you may be interested in any or all of them. Pierogie/Pastie Sale

Crestwood HS PTA Pierogie/Pastie Sale (from Kowalsky’s in Nanticoke) will benefit the Senior Lock-In. Orders can be placed for: Potato or Cabbage-$8.50/dozen, Jalapeno Cheddar Bacon -$9.00/dozen, Farmer’s Cheese-$9.50/dozen, Chicken Wing-$11.50/ dozen, and pasties: (Meat, onion and potato stuffed)-$9.00/each. Hoagie Sale

Slocum Twp vol. Fire Co will be having its annual Hoagie Sale Feb 28th. Orders are due Feb 25th. Call 570-868-6255 and leave a message . The cost is for an American hoagie $5 with onion or no onion.

Dodgeball Tournament

The Crestwood Baseball Booster Club is sponsoring their 2016 Dodgeball Tournament at the Crestwood High School gymnasium on Friday, February 26, 2016. Doors open at 5:30pm and the event is open to the public. Admission cost is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. All proceeds benefit the Crestwood baseball program grades 7 -12.

Pancake & Sausage Breakfast

The Crestwood Lady Comets basketball team is hosting a pancake and sausage breakfast at Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill 253 Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard on Saturday, February 27 from 8:00-10:00 a. m. Relay For Life Meeting

Mountain Top Relay for Life will hold it’s next meeting on March 2nd at 6pm in the Crestwood High School Library/Media Center. Relay is looking for teams for this year’s event. Rice Book Fair, Family Fun Night

Please join us on March 2nd from 5:30 to 8:00 for our Book Fair and Family Fun Night. Shop the book fair in the large group room and enjoy games and ice cream in the gym. Spaghetti Dinner

The United Methodist Men will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday March 5. Pre-sale tickets will be available from the men, or you may make a reservation through the office. Take-outs will be from 3-4 pm, Dine-in from 4-6:30 pm. $7 Adult, $3 ages 5-12, under 5 Free.

Inside Flea Market, Pizza Sale

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, located at 316 S. Mountain Blvd. in Mountain Top, will hold an Inside Flea Market and Pizza Sale on Saturday, March 5th. The Flea Market will be held from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. and will be filled with vendors selling antiques, collectibles, jewelry and craft items. There will be items for sale to benefit the Luzerne County SPCA, as well. The pizza sale will be held from 12:00 to 2 p. m. Please call the church at 570-474-6616 to order pizza.
