Crestwood JV Icemen Lose To Hazleton
CONTROLLING THE PUCK for Crestwood is No 24 Andrew Ryman. Crestwood lost to Hazleton, 7-6 in a game played January 25.

Crestwood’s JV Hockey Team faced off against Hazleton on January 25th at Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston.

Kevin Frisbie began the scoring with an assisted goal with Ryan Harding. Matthew Dopp scored next, assisted by Kevin Frisbie, allowing the team to tie it up 2-2 in the first period.

Dopp scored the first goal of the second period, assisted by Tyler Haasis. Harding scored his own goal next, assisted by Frisbie. Dopp scored again, assisted by Harding, to complete his hat trick. This knotted the teams at 5-5 at the end of the second period.

Dopp scored again, unassisted, in the third to tie the game at 6-6, but Hazleton came back to score with 7 seconds remaining to seal the 7-6 win.

The goal was tended by Charles Helmbold who stopped 11 shots.

The team is coached by Frank Govan and Tom Harding.
