BASIC GIFTS FOR THE HOMELESS-The Luzerne County Community College Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC) Club decorated a Heroes Christmas Tree for homeless veterans. The tree was decorated with name tags for 30 veterans who live at St. Francis Assisi Veterans home in Scranton. The History Club advisor, LCCC Berwick Center, staff, faculty and students took the name tags off the tree and bought gifts and the Rose Tucker Sr. Center in Nanticoke, donated homemade lap afghans for the veterans.
