St. Martin In The Fields Sets Pork & Sauerkraut Supper

The Book Nook at Saint Martin in the Fields will be open on Saturday 9th from 10 am to 2 pm.. While Rich (the keeper of the books) is recovering from hip surgery the hours will be limited. You will find many new additions to our stock so stop by and get some fireside reading material.

January 23rd is the Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner at 4:00 pm. This is a great feast of roasted fresh pork loin, sauerkraut, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and applesauce. There will be a really great bake sale featuring pie, cakes, and our famous Welsh cookies.

The St. Martin’s Auxiliary will meet on the fourth Sunday of the month after the social hour. The membership is open to all members and friends of the church. This is a very active group. They work extremely hard to help the church financially and spiritually. They bake our famous Welsh Cookies 4 to 5 times a year. They were responsible for the food at last year’s third Annual Kite Festival (their sloppy Joes got rave reviews). They hold a Flea Market and Bake Sale every June. They decorate the Church for all the seasons. They are currently having Pasty sales every 3 months.

The Auxiliary is a vital part of St. Martin in the Fields Church and welcomes new members with open arms and an apron. Come see us in action, we will be baking Welsh cookies at 6:00pm on Tuesday January 5 and Wednesday 6 for the bake sale at the Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner.

Every month, on the 4th Sunday the 10:00am Holy Eucharist will include a Healing Service. The date for January is January 24th.

St. Martin in the Fields is located at 3083 Church Road in Mountaintop.
