St. Paul’s WELCA To Meet January 13

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Sunday Worship Services are scheduled at 8:30 a. m. and 11 a. m. An Adult Gathering is held at 9:30 a. m.

Communion will be offered January 17th and 31st.

Bible Study continues every Thursday evening at 6 p. m. as the group continues to study Max Lucado’s, The Story. Our study has taken us through the Old Testament and we will begin our New Testament study shortly.

Every Monday afternoon at 2: p. m., we gather at Wright Manor in hopes of completing the New Testament.

Board Game Day is every third Wednesday, at 1 p. m. at the church will be board game day. Please bring your favorite game and a snack to share. Come on out and have some fun.

The WELCA’s next meeting will be January 13, 2016 at 1 p. m. at the church. Midge Oldziejewski will be the Hostess and we will be working on hymnal ribbons.

Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day” and members are asked to remember those less fortunate by bringing nonperishable food items in order to keep up with the demand for food. Other items currently needed are: coffee, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, dry soup, pudding and Jell-O mixes, and popcorn, pork & beans, canned tomatoes, canned soup, mustard, mayonnaise, tuna, macaroni & cheese and pasta (ex. spaghetti), peas, canned pasta, and noodles.

Yarn Spinners-We have 9 robes for St. Luke’s and will continue to work on the prayer shawls and baptismal blankets for Pastor. The next scheduled meeting will be January 6, 2016 and will discuss the next project.

The following weekly meetings are scheduled: Weight Watchers every Wednesday at 6:15 p. m., AA Meetings every Wednesday and Friday at 7 p. m. and Sundays at 7 p. m., NA meetings every Thursday at 6 p. m., and a Stress and Anxiety Management Support Group meets every 2nd and last Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p. m.
