William V. Marosevitch, White Haven, formerly of Ashley, died Dec. 26, 2015, at Celtic Hospice, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Newark, N. J., he was the son of the late William and Mary Weron Marosevitch, graduated from Hanover Area High School, Class of 1970, and received his associate degree from CDP.
Bill served in the U. S. Marines from 1974 to 1980 and was self-employed as a computer technician.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven, life member of the Marine Corps League and AMVETS; charter member of the White Haven Detachment; past Northeast Division vice commandant of Pennsylvania; member of the Ashley American Legion and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Plymouth Council.
Bill enjoyed hunting, World War II memorabilia, was an amateur ham radio operator, was a Yankees fan and loved to play golf.
Bill is survived by his loving wife,
the former Marion Bolesta; daughter, Melissa Jaslar, Wilkes-Barre; son-in-law, David Jaslar, Shavertown; grandchildren, Brandon and Jianna, Shavertown; and brothers, Richard Marosevitch, Plymouth Township; and Peter Marosevitch, Hanover Township.
The funeral was held from Lehman Family Funeral Service Inc., White Haven.
