T-Shirt Fundraiser

The Crestwood Baseball team is selling t-shirts in support of the fight against cancer. The shirts are $10 and the proceeds will benefit Candy’s Place, a Cancer Wellness Center in Forty Fort. The shirts will be available from any Crestwood Baseball Player and at the Mountain Top Eagle.

S. A. L. Post 781 Meeting

Fairview PTA Meeting

The Fairview PTA will be holding it’s monthly meeting on Wed. December 9 at 6 pm. This change is only for this month due to the Crestwood School board meeting on Thursday December 10.

Wine Glass Painting Class

Get ready for the holidays by painting your own set of wine glasses with Mountain Top Gift Gallery at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library on Wednesday, December 9 at 6 p. m. Make them for yourself or as a gift for someone else! Glasses, paint, and aprons will be provided. Choose between two designs and paint two glasses for $20 per person. Payment is required with registration. Register for this class at the library located at 35 Kirby Ave., Mountaintop, or call 570-474-9313 with a credit card. Space is limited.

Craft Sale & Flea Market

Slocum Methodist Church on Blue Ridge Trail will be holding it’s Craft Sale & Flea Market on Saturday, December 12th from 10am to 3pm. There will be model trains for sale, a chinese auction and homemade food available for purchase. For more info contact Charlie 570-868-6478.

Holiday Roll Sale

Women’s Club of Mountaintop is conducting its annual Holiday Roll Sale. The holiday rolls for sale are a different size. Rolls are 9 inches and the recipe is the same as in the past. The fillings are nut, poppy seed, apricot and prune. The cost is $6.00 per roll. The rolls are delicious and make great gifts for the holidays. The deadline to order is December 12th. Christmas Cookie & Craft Sale

On December 12 from 10 a. m. to 12 noon, the Nuangola Library will hold its famous Annual Christmas Cookie & Craft Sale. There will be delicious cookies by the pound, poinsettias, wreaths, holiday gifts, refreshments and Christmas Crafts.

Emmanuel UCC Hosts We Three Community Concert

A Community Christmas Concert by We Three on Sunday evening, December 13, at 7:00 pm will be held at Emmanuel UCC. We Three is a trombone trio who has performed at many church concerts in our area and we are glad to have them play at Emmanuel. The concert will include a combination of sacred and secular Christmas songs and everyone is invited to join in the hymn sing of Christmas Carols. A certain jolly person is also going to make an appearance to the delight of the youngsters. There will also be refreshments after the concert so please plan to stay and mingle with the trio and your friends and neighbors. Emmanuel is located at 7768 Blue Ridge Trail at the intersection of Blue Ridge Trail and Alberdeen Road (across from Andy’s Gas Station), in Dorrance Township. Paint With Rotary

The Rotary Club of Mountain Top will be holding is first Paint with Rotary (Holiday Edition). This will be a fun project for CHILD AND ADULT. Come paint the Grinch and his dog Max. What a great way to get in the Christmas Spirit. The date is Sunday Dec 13th, 3:00p.m. at Mountain Top Gift Gallery, located on the corner of S. Main and Nuangola Road. Admission is $45 total.
