Holiday Programs Planned At Marian Sutherland Kirby Library

There is something for everyone at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library during the month of December! Registration is required for all programs listed and may be done by visiting the library at 35 Kirby Ave. Mountaintop, or by calling 570-474-9313 during regular business hours.

Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6:30pm –Color Me Calm –Adults, 18 and over are invited to spend a relaxing hour coloring your cares away! Supplies and coloring pages will be provided or feel free to bring your own. Christmas pages will also be available!

Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 6pm –Wine Glass Painting Class –Adults, 18 and over will be instructed by the Mountain Top Gift Gallery to paint two wine glasses with a holiday design! There is a $20 supplies fee for this program to paid upon registration. When reregistering via phone please have credit card information available.

Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 6:30pm –Teen Ornament Painting –Teens, ages 12-17, will paint some holiday ornaments to hang on their own tree! Paint and ornaments will be supplied.

Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 6pm –Santa Visits the Library! –Santa will be available to listen to children’s wish lists. Shane East Photography will be supplying the photos. There will be a $10 fee to purchase 2 5x7s of your child and Santa. Join us for refreshments, crafts, and family fun!

Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 7pm –We Three Holiday Concert –We Three is a unique and well known trombone trio that plays music from The Great American Songbook. They also perform some jazz, spirituals and folksongs. “We Three” has prepared a special Christmas program of well-known and beloved songs of the season designed to delight audiences of all ages. Members of “We Three” are: Brett Rhynhardt, Mark Stair, and Michael Stair.

The Friends of the Library will be setting up their annual Christmas Boutique table with holiday and gift items of various prices. Stop in and check it out!
