Sun., Nov. 22 -Introduction to Bird Feeding: 1 p. m. Interested in starting your own backyard bird feeding station? Come get some tips and tricks to help you get the most out of this enjoyable hobby. Learn about feeder placement and what bird seed will attract the birds you want. Registration required by calling 570-403-2006. Meet at the office. Free.
Wed., Dec. 2-DiscoverE: Hide-n’-Seekers; 10 a. m. Join us for a program to get preschoolers outside and learning about our natural world through stories, activities, and crafts. Children should be dress to be both inside and out. This program is designed for 3-5 year olds. If you must bring young siblings, there will be an area set up in the back of the room to minimize distractions for program participants. Registration required by calling 570-403-2006. Meet at the Park Office. Free.
Dec. 4-Christmas Naturally: Make & Take Your Own Decorations: 3:00-7:00 pm
Bring your family and friends to the park and create on-of-a-kind tree ornaments and holiday decorations using a variety of natural items such as pine cones and milkweed pods. Visitors are welcome to stop by anytime during the four hours and bring a bag or box if they wish to take any of their creations home. No registration. Meet at the office. Free.
