The weather may be getting colder, but there’s evidence of a warming trend, at least in the hearts of our neighbors. At this time of the year as the temperatures go down and the heating bills go up, it’s especially heartwarming to see all the food donations given to the Wapwallopen Ministerium Food Bank. We are very blessed to have churches, organizations and individuals who consider the condition of others who need to choose heating vs. eating. We have seen an increase in the number of families needing assistance at this time. The food and paper products you donated are being distributed to grateful people.
Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am and is led by Rev. Ken Newhook, our Interim Pastor. Pastor Ken is learning about our members and community so please come and show him how welcome he is to our family of believers. We also welcome visitors and friends to join us for worship every Sunday.
Share the wonder of Advent with your family and friends by welcoming them to worship with us beginning Sunday, November 29. Help others truly prepare for the coming of Christ by worshipping during the season of Advent and hearing the message of salvation born in a lowly stable.
