Crestwood JV Iceman Come Up With Another Win

Crestwood’s JV Ice Hockey Team faced off against Susquehanna Valley on November 14th at Revolution Ice Center in Pittston.

Crestwood began the scoring while taking a 1-0 lead after the first period with a goal by Frankie Doherty, assisted by Chase Govan. Susquehanna Valley came up with two goals of their own in the second period leaving Crestwood down 2-1.

Crestwood tied the game with an unassisted goal by Michael Baron in the third period but Susquehanna Valley once again took the lead 3-2. Crestwood quickly answered with a goal by Matthew Dopp, assisted by No. 67 Kevin Frisbie. Kevin Frisbie took Crestwood to their victory with an unassisted goal at the end of the third period. Crestwood won, 4-3.

The team had 33 shots on goal. The goal was tended by No. 29 Charles Helmbold who saved 15 shots.

The team is coached by Frank Govan and Tom Harding.

The next game for the team is scheduled on November 21st at 4:45 against Hazleton.
