ST. JUDE’S PLANNINGARTAUCTION-The St. Jude School PTGArtAuction Committee held its first meeting to plan their annual fundraiser. This year’s auction will be held on April 16 beginning at 6:30 p. m. Baubles, Bags, Bids, and Blue Jeans will be this year’s theme. According toArtAuction Co-Chairpersons Nichole Josefowicz and Marilyn Ayre, “The theme is a perfect representation of what guests can expect at the event this year with a more casual vibe than previous years, with the recommended attire being blue jeans.” RSI Auction Services, a silent auction company from NJ, will be silent auctioning artwork, jewelry, scarves, sports memorabilia, handbags, travel experiences and more. The annual Art Auction supports the St. Jude School Artist in Residence program which sponsors an artist from the NEIU and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to join students for a twenty-day residency in order to increase their artistic education. Past artists have included painters, potters, weavers, mixed media artists, and Broadway performers.
