Crestwood lost to an explosive Williamsport team on Friday, October 30 at the Crestwood stadium. The 47-13 loss drops the Comets’ record to 2-7 in the 2015 season.
The powerful Millionaires scored three touchdowns on their first three possessions. Their first score came late in the opening quarter when quarterback Isaiah Hankins scored on a 1-yard run. Hankins tacked on his second TD just two minutes later to increase the Williamsport lead to 14-0.
The Millionaires recovered a Crestwood fumble and scored on the next play on a 45-yard touchdown pass from Hankins to Jerah Reeves. With three minutes left in the half, Williamsport extended the lead to 26-0.
The half ended with another Millionaires’ score on an interception of a Mike Williams pass to end the half up 33-0.
Crestwood came back in the second half on the legs on Tanner Kahlau who ran for 134 yards on 21 carries. Kahlau score the Comet’s first points on a 1-yard touchdown jaunt.
Owen Grigas, who carried the ball seven times for 33 yards, scored Crestwood’s second and final TD.
Williamsport (6-3) finished the day with 339 yards of total offense., six touchdowns and three interceptions.
Crestwood will play their last game of the season against host Pottsville.
