Hazleton welcomes podiatric surgeon Brittany Portonova, DPM. Portonova will be practicing at LVPG Podiatry–Health & Wellness Center, located at 50 Moisey Drive, Hazleton. Appointments can be made by calling 570-501-4LVH (4584).
Portonova received her doctor of medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital.
As a podiatric surgeon, Portonova provides comprehensive treatment devoted to the study of diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity.
Being an avid dancer and runner, Portonova was attracted to podiatric medicine as a career after frequent visits to podiatrists for foot problems. “Becoming a podiatrist was an easy choice because I wanted to help others, just as they helped me,” says Portonova.
As a native of Hazleton, she is very familiar with the Greater Hazleton area. “I want to be a part of the advancements being made in medicine in our community,” she says “LVPG–Hazleton has a great network of providers to serve patients in the greater Hazleton area.
