Mountain Post American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 781, will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday Oct. 6, 2015 at 7:00 p. m. for the Executive Committee and 7:30 p. m. for the Regular Meeting. Fairview PTA Meeting

The Fairview Elementary PTA monthly meeting will be held on Thursday October 8th at 6 p. m. All parents/grandparents/ guardians of Fairview Elementary students are encouraged to attend and join the PTA. Babysitting will be provided.

AutumnFest Bazaar

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of White Haven will host their annual AutumnFest bazaar on Saturday, October 10 from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. in the church’s parish hall. The church is located at 414 Berwick St. Visitors will be able to enjoy six different kinds of home made soup, halupkis, haluski, funnel cakes and baked goods as well as beef barbecue, hotdogs and sausage sandwiches. Interesting treasures will be found at the flea market and hand made crafts tables. Food items can be purchased for eat in or take out. For more information, call the church office at 570-443-9424.

Annual Public Rosary Rally

Please join us for the Annual Public Rosary Rally sponsored by America Needs Fatima on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 12 noon. The event will take place in the Weis parking lot in Mountain Top. Brew And Barbeque

Brew and Barbeque, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Mountain Top, at American Legion Park will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 12 noon to 5 p. m. at the American Legion Park. Crestwood Wrestling Program

The Crestwood Elementary Wrestling program has announced two registration dates for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. Registration will be held on Monday, October 12 and Monday October 19 from 6:00 -7:30 p. m. at the Crestwood HS cafeteria. The program is open to all students K through 6th grade who reside in the Crestwood School District. The cost per wrestler is $75. Welcome Club Meeting

The Mountain Top Welcome Club will hold it’s October meeting on Thursday, October 15th at noon at the Mountain Top Presbyterian Church, 9 Chestnut Street. Lunch will be provided by Luigi’s for $8 and babysitting will be available fore $4 first child and $3 for additional children. We would like to ask everyone to wear PINK in spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Chris Ostroski from Candy’s Place, A Cancer Wellness Center has been invited as a speaker. During the luncheon everyone will have the opportunity to have a nail painted pink for a $5 donation to Candy’s Place. Please bring a donation of NEW Hats and Gloves for those in need. Rice PTA Meeting

The Rice Elementary PTA will host their monthly meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 6:00 p. m. in the school’s library.
