Betty Rose Harding

Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister. Betty Rose Harding died Sept. 5, 2015 at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mae (Steusser) Andrulaitis.

Betty was a graduate of Messmer High School and Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI where she earned a Bachelors degree. She worked as a Credit Analyst for Marshall & Ilsley Bank. She was a member of St. Jude’s Church, Mountain Top and St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven.

Betty moved with her husband to Mountain Top where she was a housewife and mother. As her health deteriorated, she and her husband moved to White Haven. Her interests were varied; she volunteered at the Marian Kirby Library. She loved sports and excelled in bowling and golf. Betty was also a talented seamstress with a creative flair for Halloween costumes and Christmas decorations.

Betty is survived by her loving husband Allan; children John A. Harding, and his wife Jennifer of Fairfax, VA; Michael J. Harding of Bridgeville, PA and his companion Margaret Sommar; Nancy Suozzi and her husband, Paul of Poughkeepsie, NY; Lisa Harding and her fiancée, Bruce Kolosvary, Colorado Springs, CO. Four Grandchildren: Seth, Alex, Samantha and Blaise; sister Marion Shockley, Brookfield WI and brother Joseph Andrulaitis, Fullerton CA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service were conducted from the Lehman Family Funeral Services, White Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven.

The family extends its gratitude to Celtic Hospice for the loving care extended and also to caregivers Missy and Lisa for their compassionate care of Betty.
