Crestwood 2015 Homecoming Parade, Game This Weekend

Crestwood High School will hold it’s homecoming game on Saturday, September 26th at 7 pm. The week leading up to the parade has many activities to help raise spirits for the big game.

Spirit Week Themes for Crestwood High School are:

September 21-Merica Monday (patriotic theme)

September 22 -Team Tuesday (favorite team gear)

September 23 -Wild West Wednesday (cowboy gear)

September 24 -Throw Down Thursday (each grade wears a color: 9th grade-white; 10th grade-green; 11th grade-purple; 12th grade-blue)

September 26 -Fired-Up Friday (Crestwood Spirit Day)

The annual Powder Puff Game will take place on Thursday, September 24 at 5:30 pm at the Crestwood Stadium. The junior and senior girls will face off in a flag football game. The public is invited to attend. Admission is $3.00 a person. The concession stand will be open for refreshments.

The Crestwood High School Homecoming dance will be held on Friday, September 25th from 6:30-9:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 and is open to current Crestwood High School students only.

The Crestwood Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, September 26th at approximately 4 pm. The parade will start at the Christ United Methodist Church and process down to the high school. Crowning of the king and queen will take place at 6:25 pm on the field, with game kickoff at 7 pm.

Lizzy Dessoye Escorted by Derek Distasio

Lizzy Dessoye is the daughter of Karen and Dale Dessoye. She has a brother Josh and a sister Anna. Lizzy is a member of the Crestwood High School varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Following graduation Lizzy plans to attend the University of Maryland and major in speech pathology.

Derek Distasio is the son of Lynn and Steve Distasio. He has a sister Stephanie. Derek is a member of the Crestwood High School varsity baseball team. In his free time he enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends. Following graduation Derek plans to attend college and major in Biology.

Raegan Distasio Escorted by Tanner Kahlau

Raegan Distasio is the daughter of Jeff and Dana Distasio. Raegan is a member of the Crestwood varsity lacrosse and tennis teams. She enjoys the movie Despicable Me and hanging out with friends. Following graduation Raegan hopes to attend the University of Pittsburgh or Penn State and plans on majoring in criminology.

Tanner Kahlau is the son of Butch and Susan Kahlau. Tanner is a member of the Crestwood varsity football and lacrosse teams, and plays ice hockey. He enjoys long walks on the beach with his dog Bailey. Following graduation Tanner plans to attend college.

Bree Fetterman Escorted by Noah Kita

Bree Fetterman is the daughter of Chuck and Amy Fetterman. Bree is a member of the Crestwood soccer and softball teams, Key Club, and the Young Scholars Program. She enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends, Taco bell slushies, and making people laugh. Following graduation Bree plans to attend college and major in physical therapy.

Noah Kita is the son of Anysia Kita. He as a brother Adam. Noah is a member of the Crestwood football team, Future Business Leaders of America, student government, and National Honor Society. He enjoys listening to music in his car, and hanging out on the turf. Following graduation, Noah plans to attend college and major in business and accounting.

Michelle Loveless Escorted by Seamus Rother

Michelle Loveless is the daughter of Bob and Margaret Loveless. She has a twin sister Amy, and a brother Rob. Michelle is a member of the Crestwood volleyball team and National Honor Society. She enjoys eating III Guys pizza, and spending time with friends and family. Following graduation, Michelle plans to attend college and major in nursing.

Seamus Rother is the son of Patrick and Maryann Rother. He is a member of the Crestwood football team; and enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Following graduation, Seamus plans to attend college followed by the military.

Morgan Melovitz Escorted by Kyle Lisicki

Morgan Melovitz is the daughter of Samantha Furcon and Anthony Melovitz. Morgan is a member of the Crestwood softball team and National Honor Society. She enjoys hanging out with friends and eating Angelo’s pizza. Following graduation, Morgan plans to attend college and major in sonography.

Kyle Lisicki is the son of Kevin and Michele Lisicki. Kyle is a member of the Crestwood Theatre Program, Junior Leadership, student government, Spanish club, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Honor Society. He also serves as the senior class president. Kyle enjoys the marvelous creations of Chipotle. Following graduation, Kyle plans to attend college for business.
