The Crestwood High School Football Booster Club presents its annual “Langin Award” at the Senior Awards Ceremony in memory of Jeff Langin, a 2000 graduate of Crestwood High School who played for the football team. Andrew played football at Crestwood from 8th through 12th grade and he is currently attending Wilkes University majoring in Pharmacy.

This award is given to a deserving senior who exhibits leadership, perseverance, dedication, and academic commitment. Approximately five seniors were nominated by the coaching staff and each nominee must submit a written essay. The essay reflects how the player’s life was influenced by being a member of the Crestwood High School football team and how they feel it will impact their future plans. The essays are forwarded to the Langin family and they are solely responsible for selecting the winner.
