Stanley L. Harmon, 66, Wapwallopen, died Aug. 3, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Berwick, he was a son of Ruth Mensch Vecchio, South Carolina, and the late Kermit Harmon.
Stanley served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at AC and F Industries and also the Big Barn Bait and Tackle Shop. Stanley was a member of the Legion Riders, the American Legion and the Slocum VFW Post 7918. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Helen Stackhouse; children, Angela Reiprich and her husband Kevin, Bloomsburg, John Harmon and his wife, Nichole, Bloomsburg, Jeremy, Mountain Top, Christopher Harmon and his wife, Ashley, Slocum Township, Chad, Dorrance Township, Jeff Harmon and his wife, Karen, Dorrance Township, Wendy O’Neill and her husband, Harry, Wapwallopen, and Brent, Slocum; a brother, Kermit, New York; and sisters, Starla Yuris and her husband, John, South Carolina, Ada Willis and her husband, Bruce, New York, and Joann Burchard, New York. Twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Arrangements were by McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
