Edward (Pop) Palsha
Korean War Veteran

Edward J. (Pop) Palsha, 84, of Dorrance Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2015 at his home.

Born in Hanover Twp. on Aug. 14, 1930, he was the son of the late John & Julia Petros Palsha.

He was a graduate of Hanover High School, class of 1947 and he was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Ed was a member of the Operating Engineers Local# 542, Wilkes-Barre for 62 years, until his retirement in 2003.

He was a lifetime member of the Dorrance Twp. Fire Company & he attended Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Wapwallopen.

Ed was an avid hunter, who enjoyed nature and animals, he loved going to the beach, welding metal crafts and fixing things around his home, but most of all he loved to spend his time with his most loved family.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ree Engler, sisters, Marie Koplish & Ann Gross, brothers, Joseph & John Palsha.

Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years the former, Audrey (Santa) Palsha, daughter, Dorrine Engler & her husband Royce, son, Edward Palsha & his wife Margaret, 3 grandchildren, Alycia Pavlick & her husband Joshua, Charisa Peresta & her husband Kenneth, Edward Engler & his wife Shawna, 2 great-grandsons, J. J. & Kenny, sister, Julianna Bozowski, numerous nieces & nephews.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Wapwallopen. Interment will be in the Emmauel U. C. C. Cemetery, Dorrance Twp.
