VBS Update From Emmanuel UCC

Vacation Bible School was really fantastic this year! The kids of Faith and Stairville UMC, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship and Emmanuel UCC and our neighborhood kids all enjoyed a great time at SonWorld Adventure Park. The park was set up similar to Disneyland with different themes.

Those who made this year’s program possible are greatly appreciated –more than you can know! Teen Guides included Brooke Rinehimer, Morgan Rinehimer, and Michelle Bernetski. Our Station Leaders were: Diana Decker and Sharon Moyer –Wild West Crafts; Eileen Bloss and Judy Brown –Galactic Zone (Bible Stories); Sandy Kleger –Pirate Cove Game Plank; the Faith UMC Ladies –Castle Carousel Snacks; Ginny Hildebrand and Donna Walck –William’s Tadpoles (Pre-K class) and Pastor Mark, Janet, Michele and me, Denise Dean, –openings and closings at Celebration Square. I would like to especially thank Pastor Mark Dodson of Faith & Stairville UMC for pitching in wherever needed and Janet Giarratano and Michele Clark of Sister Act for providing music for our songs. I would like to thank everyone who brought their children to VBS.

I would also like to thank everyone who contributed to our mission project for this year, Go Joe XVIII. Through your generosity we collected $254.52 to help the residents and clients of St. Joseph’s Center. I hope that your children will be talking about SonWorld Adventure Park for weeks to come. I know I will as I remember all the fun, excitement and love that surrounded us during this week. See you next year!!!
