Stanley L. Harmon, 66, Wapwallopen, died Aug. 3, 2015, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Berwick, he was the son of Ruth Mensch Vecchio of South Carolina and the late Kermit Harmon.
Stanley served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked at AC and F Industries and also the Big Barn Bait and Tackle Shop.
Stanley was a member of the Legion Riders, the American Legion and Slocum Veteans of Foreign Wars Post 7918.
He enjoyed hunting and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Helen Stackhouse; children, Angela Reiprich and husband, Kevin, Bloomsburg; John Harmon and wife, Nichole, Bloomsburg; Jeremy, Mountain Top; Christopher Harmon and wife, Ashley, Slocum Township; Chad, Dorrance Township; Jeff Harmon and wife, Karen, Dorrance Township; Wendy O’Neill and husband, Harry, Wapwallopen; and Brent, Slocum; a brother, Kermit, New York; and sisters, Starla Yuris and husband, John, South Carolina; Ada Willis and husband, Bruce, New York; and Joann Burchard, New York. Twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Arrangements were by McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
