identification kits, they will only be provided to Mountain Top residents.
Police encourage residents to come out and meet their police officers, fire fighters and EMS personnel to get acquainted with them as well as become acquainted with other services available in the Mountain Top area. Police believe that meeting the residents they serve and protect is an asset for the police officers when an emergency situation arises. It allows officers the opportunity to be familiar with and recognize residents as well as residents with their emergency personnel. The event will help promote a positive interaction between community members and those who serve them. As time change and situations occur negative impressions can be left when police react. The Mountain Top police are taking a positive approach with National Night Out and would like to see this become an annual event.
