Area Residents Named To Dean’s Lists

Kimberly Bernetski of Wapwallopen was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2014-2015 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Rochester Institute of Technology is home to leading creators, entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers.


M. Rexer, a Health Science (PA) major from Mountain Top was among the over 700 students from Saint Francis University made the Spring 2015 Dean’s List.

To achieve Dean’s List at Saint Francis University students must have full-time status and must attain a quality point average of at least 3.5 for the given semester.


Elliot Snyder of Mountain Top, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2015 semester at Widener.

The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.

Widener University is a private, metropolitan university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement. Dynamic teaching, active scholarship, personal attention, leadership development and experiential learning are key components of the Widener experience.


Brittany Blass of Mountain Top has been named to the 2015 spring semester Dean’s List at Lafayette College for outstanding academic achievement. To qualify for Dean’s List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a scale of 4.0. Blass is a graduate of Crestwood High School.

Lafayette is a top liberal arts college with 2,400 students and 215 full-time faculty that offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs including engineering.

Joseph Quinn, a Physics major from White Haven, was named to the Dean’s List in Ithaca College’s School of Humanities and Sciences for the spring 2015 semester.

Christine Harris of Mountain Top, has been named to the Spring 2015 dean’s list at Buffalo State. Harris is majoring in biology.

Buffalo State students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours to be named to the dean’s list.

earned dean’s list honors for the Spring 2015 semester at Saint Joseph’s University.

They are: Nicholas Ambrulavage, majoring in Psychology; Emily Steele, majoring in Computer Science; and Anna Kozelsky, majoring in Accounting

Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.
