Students who will be attending the National Catholic Youth Conference will sponsor a Car Wash on Saturday, June 27 from 9 a. m. until 3 p. m. in the parking lot of St. Jude Church. The cost is $5 to have your car washed and $7 to have your car washed and vacuumed.

Light the Fire Summer Youth Rally will be held Wednesday, July 1 at Misericordia University for students entering ninth through twelfth grades in the Fall. The cost is $30 which includes bus transportation to and from the event, lunch and dinner. The closing Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Bambera. The day will include time with friends, faith exploration, Reconciliation, and awesome music. Topics will include how to live out your faith, avoiding temptation, peer pressure, how to deal with stress, and finding God in hard times. Those attending are asked to be at St. Jude’s between 8 a. m. and 8:15 a. m. The bus will leave St. Jude’s at 8:30 a. m. and return at approximately10:30 p. m. Fr. Jerry will be preaching all the Masses at St. Jude Church the weekend of June 27/28. St. Jude Parish will have a reception after the noon Mass on June 28 in the St. Jude School cafeteria. All are welcome to come and wish him well on his new journey.
Parishioners are invited to the St. Mary’s in Dorrance bazaar on June 27 from 4 p. m. until 11 p. m. and June 28 from 4 p. m. until 10 p. m. Homemade food and games for all ages will be featured.
Religious Education registration is being conducted. Students in a sacrament year (2nd and 8th) will have a flat fee upfront of $75.00. Instead of paying a registration fee and a sacramental fee later in the year, you will only have a one-time fee. Any students in a non-sacramental year will pay a $40 flat fee to equal no greater than $100.00 total for your family. Registering after July 15th will result in a late fee of $10 per child.
