Looking for some bargains and good food? St. Martin in the Fields Annual Flea Market and Bake Sale is the place to visit. Searching for just the right “treasure?” It could be at our Flea Market. Hunger for some tasty bake goods? There will be plenty to choice from, including our famous Welsh Cookies. Bring your appetite and wallet on June 27th from 9am to 1pm. You can donate all your unwanted “treasures” or rent a space and sell them yourself. Contact Marlene at 868 5690 or Harriet at 868 3394 to reserve a space or get more information.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church food bank provides food boxes for over 60 families each month. In June we will be collecting canned foods for their food bank. This winter we collected cereal, dried milk, pasta and pasta sauces. You can bring you contribution to this worthy cause by bringing it to the Church on Sundays.
June 21st is the next Vestry meeting immediately following the social hour. Vestry meetings are open to all church members. Join us for some insight into the workings of St. Martin’s.
Planning for the Fall Festival has begun. We welcome anyone interested in getting involved in this fund raising event to contact Patty. The Festival is a lot of work, but more helping hands will make for less work, more fun and hopefully a financial success.
