Andrew D. Hoffmann, 25, Summit View Drive, died June 14, 2015, at Celtic Hospice and Home Health in Wilkes-Barre after a battle with fibrolameller hepatocellular carcinoma.
He was born Oct. 14, 1989, in Poughkeepsie, New York, a son of Daniel P. and Trudy L. (Mull) Hoffmann of Mountain Top.
Andrew graduated from Knoch High School, Saxonburg, and attended Butler County Community College.
He was employed at Staples in inventory management control until he could no longer work due to his illness.
He was a very active member of Troop 60, Boy Scouts of American, in Mountain Top.
Andrew always enjoyed being outdoors — he liked to go camping, fishing and hiking and also enjoyed model rocketry.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Patricia A. Hoffmann, State College; one brother, Benjamin W. Hoffmann; two sisters, Katelynn M. Hoffmann and Jennifer L. Hoffmann; aunts and uncles, Adam Mull and his wife, Ayda, Tamara Ikahara, Amy Ritter and her husband, Jeffrey, Cindy Smith and her husband, David, and Robert Hoffmann Jr.; great-aunts and great-uncles, Jackie Vesey, Shirley Ferguson, Jeff and Penny Mull, Sylvia Proycek, Karl and Joanne Hoffmann, Phyllis and Fred Raleigh, John and Sue Hoffmann, Alice Stringer and Nadine and Rudy Medved; and many cousins.
Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert O. Hoffmann Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Connie Mull.

Funeral service was held in Pocono Hall Solarium, White Haven Center, 827 Oley Valley Road, White Haven.

Louis Garcia, 77, Valley Stream Park, Mountain Top, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.
He is survived by son, Michael. Services will be at the convenience
of the family from Yeosock Funeral Home, Plains Township.
