National Trails Day Volunteer Work Day; 9 –11 a. m.
Celebrate National Trails Day by coming out to the park to hike a trail and do some clean up. Bring a water bottle and wear long pants and sturdy shoes for this event. To help us plan projects accordingly, please register by calling 570-403-2006. Meet at the park office.

Saturday, June 13
Kayaking: Level I; Session I –9 a. m., Session II –11 a. m., Session III –1:30 p. m. Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day! If you’ve never been in a kayak before, now’s your chance! 9-acre Lake Frances is the perfect lake for “getting your feet wet.” This hour-long session is an introductory course
where participants will learn kayak terminology and basic paddle skills before heading out on the lake to give it a try for yourself. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE FOR THIS PROGRAM -SPACE IS LIMITED. Register for ONE session only. Ages 9 & up. Dress for the weather and meet park staff at
Lake Frances. Free.
