Plans For FourthAnnual St. Jude Parish International Fest In The Grove Finalized
ST. JUDE PARISH INTERNATIONAL FEST in the Grove will be held on Saturday, May 30 (4-11 p. m.) and Sunday, May 31 (12-9 p. m.) on the parish grounds at 420 S. Mountain Blvd., in Mountain Top. Organizers from St. Jude Parish recently met to finalize plans for the fourth annual International Fest in the Grove on Saturday, May 30 (4-11 p. m.) and Sunday, May 31 (12-9 p. m.) on the parish grounds at 420 South Mountain Boulevard, in Mountain Top.

Ethnic foods from ten countries will be featured and includes Homemade Pierogi, Potato Pancakes, Haluski, Fish ‘n Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Tacos, American favorites and desserts. A large selection of international beer and wine will be available.

Live music will be provided by Doug and Sean on Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 p. m. Several local dance troupes will perform from 12 p. m. to 5 p. m. Sunday. The choir from St. Jude School will perform on Sunday at 1 p. m. There will be free activities for children including the Kid’s World Walkabout, a fun way for youngsters to learn about other countries, and their cultures and Story Time, sponsored by Barnes and Nobles. Magician Pat Ward will entertain youngsters nightly from 5:30 p. m. to 7:30 p. m.

The Grand Prize Raffle this year includes three drawings: a Dream Vacation or $5,000 Cash, Custom LASIK Procedure w/IntralaseDream, and a one week stay in a luxurious beachfront home in Emerald Isle, NC. Raffle tickets are now available at the Parish Center or can be purchased at the festival. Please bring a can of food to help “fill the truck.” Donated cans of food will be distributed to local food banks.
