facility, a decision made because of demand in the area, Pramick said. “We added radiology for patient convenience, so they can get x-rays closer to home,” she said.
The new facility will be 21,000 square feet, which is about double the office space of the current locations, Pramick said. “It’ll be nice to have room to breathe,” she said.
The 15 staff members of the current three facilities will all move to the new location, she added, and Geisinger expects to hire two new employees to run the new radiology department.
