Wright Township Sponsoring Annual Clean Up May 4-May 9

Wright Township is sponsoring a Cleanup May 4 through May 9 for Wright Township residents only.

Arrangements can be made for pick up of large items. There will be a fee of $10 for pickup plus $5 for each large item such as couches, mattresses, grills, lawn tractors, etc. Appliances will be picked up also (see fee scheduled below) by calling the Supervisors office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a. m. to 4 p. m. during the month of April. Pick ups will be scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, May 4 and 5, 2015. All items must be placed at roadside by 8 a. m. on Monday, May 4. Only items on the list and prepaid will be picked up. No items will be picked up curbside after May 5, 2015. Ant items after that date will be required to be brought to the municipal drop off at the township building.

Dumpsters will be available behind the municipal building to deposit items on Wednesday, May 6 from 7 am. to 4 p. m. on Thursday and Friday, May 7 and 8 from 7 a. m. to 6 p. m. and on Saturday, May 10 from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. No construction materials, paint cans, automotive parts, propane tanks or hazardous materials will be accepted. No electronic items will be collected or received at this time. Any and all electronic items such as microwaves, computers, TVs, radios, cell phones, etc. will only be accepted during the township’s Electronic Recycling Project in June.

All pick ups must be paid for in advance. Permits to deposit items in the dumpsters must also be purchased in advance. No one will be allowed to deposit items unless they have a permit.
