MMI Students Compete At State FBLA Conference

More than 20 students from MMI Preparatory School recently qualified to complete at the State Leadership Conference of the Future Business Leaders of America.

The students received first-through fifth-place finishes during the Pennsylvania Regional Leadership Conference and will attend various business workshops and compete in their respective events during the state competition in Hershey from April 13 to 15. Students who place at the State Leadership Conference will attend the national competition in the summer.

The following MMI students placed in the top five at the regional conference and are competing in the state conference in these competition categories: Emily Seratch, 1st Place Client Service; Mike Eisenhart, 5th Place Computer Problem Solving; Chava Kornblatt, 1st Place Intro to Parliamentary Procedure; William Bower, 2nd Place Personal Finance; Nick Young, 1st Place Business Math; Kevin Cibak, 5th Place Cyber Security; Kisan Patel, 1st Place FBLA Principles and Procedures; Keegan Farrell and Joey Synoski, 2nd Place Management Information Systems; Soprina Guarneri and Kelsy Donaldson, 2nd Place Marketing; Allie McGeehan and Olivia Minzola, 1st and 3rd Places in Intro to Business Communication; Katie Eschenbach, Keenan Overa and Doug Genetti, 1st Place Global Business; and Jack Malay, Marc Lobitz, James Lambert, George Palermo, and Michael Badamo, 2nd Place Parliamentary Procedures.

Additionally, 14 students are awaiting results and may advance to the state competition.
