Karissa Levenoski led the lady Comets with 23 assists, four aces and three digs.

Teammate Bryanna Hurn chipped in seven kills.

Crestwood captured a 3-1 win against Lake Lehman on September 11. Scores were 24-26, 25-15, 25-18, 25-14.

Levenoski paced the lady Comets with 22 assists, eight service points and four blocks.

Hurn chipped in with 13 kills, 10 digs and seven points while Julie Murphy finished with 17 digs, eight points, and three aces.


Crestwood dominated host Hanover in girls soccer on September 8, winning by a score of 7-2.

Olivia Termini had a hat trick and two assists in the victory.

Vanessa Atie added two goals. Jen Katulka and Bree Fetterman each scored a goal in the win.

McKenna Mera and Shelby Szokel shared goalkeeping duties, saving six in the win.

On September 9, Crestwood

shutout Delaware Valley, 5-0.

Olivia Termini recorded a hat trick while Atie added a goal and an assist. Fetterman also added a goal in the win.

Crestwood edged Holy Redeemer, 3-2, in a game played September 11.

Attie led Crestwood with two goals while Termini added one.

The lady Comets outshot the Royals, 16-9, in the victory.


The boys soccer team crushed visiting Hanover Area, 15-0, in a game played September 8.

The Comets were led in scoring by Kyle Gegaris and Jason Klusewicz each scored three goals.

Also scoring for Crestwood were Dylan Perrone, Alex Despirito, Andrew Ryman, Matt Wimpfheimer, Dylan Gesford, Connor Keenan and Zack Valentino.

The Comets fired off a barrage of 41 shots on goal.

Crestwood dominated Holy Redeemer en route to a 7-0 shutout on September 11.

Ryman, Gegaris, and Alex Orrson each scored two goals for the Comets. Klusewicz added one for the big win.


Tunkhannock edged visiting Crestwood, 3-2, in tennis on September 8.

In singles, Ana Rahman defeated Brianna Grey, 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles, Zoya Rahman and Bethany Jones defeated Kaitlyn Markovitz and Miranda Donovan, 6-2, 6-2.

Crestwood lost to Dallas, 4-1, in a match contested September 10.

The doubles team of Rahman and Jones captured the only win for the lady Comets.


In field hockey, Crestwood cruised past host Tunkhannock, 7-0, in WVC action on September 8.

Hunter Pitman scored three goals for the winners while Jordan Olengenski added two.

Also scoring were Casey Cole and Hannah Ackers.

Jason Dotzel and Shane Engle each carded a 41 for Crestwood.
