Public Invited To Center For Landscape Design, And Stewardship Tour August 26 In Butler Twp.
Penn State Extension -Luzerne County invites the public to tour the Center for Landscape Design and Stewardship (CLDS) and attend our 2014 annual meeting. The event will begin Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 5:30pm, at the Butler Township Community Center, 415 West Butler Drive, Drums.
Sandwiches and refreshments will be served at 5:30 followed by a brief business meeting and election of community members to serve on the Extension Board. Guests can then take a short walk to visit the working demonstrations at the CLDS and learn about them from knowledgeable volunteers. CLDS projects include: Pollinator, Perennial, Herb, and Rain Gardens; Green Roof demonstration; and honey bees!
