Sunday Church School begins at 9:30 a. m.
Pastor Michele D. Kaufman leads Sunday worship services at St. Paul’s at 8:30 am, and 10 am. The Church office (570-474-6616) is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 12 pm. Pastor Kaufman is in the office Mondays from10 a. m.-2 p. m.
The Organist/Director is Christine Katsock.
There is no nursery in the summer months.
Communion will be offered July 20th, August 3rd, 17th, and 31st.
A Healing Service is scheduled Wednesday, August 6 at 11:00 a. m.
A Potluck Luncheon will following at noon.
The following weekly meetings are scheduled: Weight Watchers meet every Wednesday at 6:15p.m.; AA meetings are held every Wednesday and Fridays at 7 p. m., and Sundays 7 p. m.; NA meetings are held very Thursday at 6 p. m.; and Stress & Anxiety Management support group meets every 2nd and last Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p. m.
The “Book of Faith” Bible Study series will be at 7 p. m. on Monday, July 21st and Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 19th.

Every third Wednesday, at 1:00 p. m. at the church will be board game day. Please bring your favorite game and a snack to share. A sign up sheet will be located on the table in the narthex. Next game day scheduled July 16th & August 20th.
Sign up for delicious hoagies! Watch for the sign-up sheet on the narthex bulletin board. All orders must be in by the previous Sunday. In August order by August 17th with a pick up date of August 21st. The cost of the hoagies are $4 each. The sign-up sheet is on the narthex bulletin board. They’re available the 3rd Thursday of each month except December.
The next meeting of the “Yarn Spinners,” is August 6th in the church at 12:30 p. m. Continue to work on baby blankets and hats for Wilkes-Barre General Hospital which will be due at the August meeting. They are 21 inch squares.
If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, they cordially invite you to join them. Lessons will be given by Lois. If you can’t make their meetings, call Lois Burge at 474-5502, and volunteer your talents.
Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day”. Items currently needed: Coffee, Peanut Butter, jelly, dry soup, pudding and Jell-O mixes, and popcorn, pork & beans, canned tomatoes, canned soup, canned fruit, mayonnaise, tuna, macaroni & cheese and pasta (ex. Spaghetti noodles, etc.) peas, carrots, canned pasta.

17th Annual Camp Evergreen-Lutheran Home Care and Hospice will be hosting their 17th annual Camp Evergreen, July 25-27 at Camp Fowler in Orefield, Pa. The 2 night overnight camp is available free of charge to bereaved children between the ages of 8 and 16 years who have experienced a recent death of a loved one.
Camp Evergreen is designed for bereaved children to gather in a safe, peer to peer environment and learn new ways of expressing their feelings. The professional staff and trained volunteers provide craft and physical activities including games which enable children to acquire appropriate ways to cope with loss and grief.
